Healthy Chocolate Banana Milkshake made with frozen bananas, nut milk, cocoa powder and a little maple syrup for some sweetness.

Ingredients
Milkshake
  • 2 very ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 1 Cup hazelnut milk or other non dairy milk
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1-2 tablespoon maple syrup, to taste
  • 6-8 ice cubes
  • optional topping: chopped, roasted hazelnuts and chocolate shavings
Chocolate Sauce
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1-2 tablespoon maple syrup, to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoon water
Instructions
Chocolate Sauce
  1. Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl until smooth. Add water a little at a time to deciered thickness.

Milkshake
  1. Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and process until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary.

    Pour in 2 glasses and top with the chocolate sauce and optional roasted hazelnuts and chocolate shavings.

    Serve immediately and Enjoy!
