Easy Vegan French Toast is the perfect weekend breakfast! Super easy to make in just 15 minutes from ingredients you probably already have at home.

Servings: 4 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 cup of non dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoon of ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 thick slices of day old bread
  • vegan butter or coconut oil for frying
Instructions
  1. In a wide and shallow bowl, whisk together all the ingredients except for the bread. The cinnamon can take a little time to incorporate. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes so the flaxseed can thicken, then stir well again.

  2. Heat a skillet over medium/high heat. Melt a little butter and then quickly dip the bread in the batter, flip and dip the other side. Do not leave the bread to soak, just a quick dip!

  3. Fry the bread until golden brown, flip and repeat.

  4. Serve the Vegan French Toast with maple syrup, a dusting of powdered sugar and some fresh berries in desired.
