Easy Vegan French Toast is the perfect weekend breakfast! Super easy to make in just 15 minutes from ingredients you probably already have at home.
In a wide and shallow bowl, whisk together all the ingredients except for the bread. The cinnamon can take a little time to incorporate. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes so the flaxseed can thicken, then stir well again.
Heat a skillet over medium/high heat. Melt a little butter and then quickly dip the bread in the batter, flip and dip the other side. Do not leave the bread to soak, just a quick dip!
Fry the bread until golden brown, flip and repeat.
Serve the Vegan French Toast with maple syrup, a dusting of powdered sugar and some fresh berries in desired.
