Recipe Notes

  • Be careful not to burn the granola! The air fryer cooks fast and is very efficient so keep an eye on it while it cooks and be sure to shake it often.
  • Test the granola and make sure it has the texture you like! It will get a little crunchier as it cools down.
  • Try different flavour combinations of the nuts and dried fruit.
  • This granola is not overly sweet, if you like yours sweeter try adding a few tablespoon of either coconut sugar or brown sugar to the mix.

This granola can also be baked in the oven.

Follow the directions but instead of the air fryer, add the granola mixture to a parchment paper covered baking sheet. Spread it out in an even layer and then bake at 160C (325°F) for 20 min, stir a couple of times while it bakes. Stir in the seeds and bake agin for about 5-10 min, stirring once or twice. Take the granola out of the oven and stir in the dried fruit. Let the granola cool down completely and then store in an air tight container.
