Easy to make Chocolate cherry crumble with sweet, juicy cherries topped with a crunchy topping filled with chocolate chips.
Preheat the oven to 350F (175C) Lightly grease either a deep pie pan, about 25 cm (10-inch) or 4 individual pie pans, set aside.
In a mixing bowl, add the pitted and halved cherries, corn starch and 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. Stir until well coated and the mixture is no longer white. Transfer the fruit mixture to the prepared pie pan and set aside while you prepare the chocolate crumble topping.
Add all the ingredients for the crumble topping in a bowl. Pinch together the ingredients using your fingers until it has a crumbled consistency.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the cherry filling and bake for 20-25 minutes. The filling should be bubbling at the edges and the toping golden brown. Let the crumble rest for about 10-15 minutes before serving with your favorite vanilla ice cream.
