Ingredients
  • 2 very ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • cup almonds, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • cup coconut chips (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 160 C (325F)

Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl. Add the maple syrup, peanut butter and cocoa powder. Mix well so there are no lumps left of the cocoa powder.

  2. Add the rolled oats, chopped almonds, cinnamon and salt. Stir well and spread out to an even layer on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

  3. Bake for about 30 minutes, gently stir the granola 2 times during baking. At the end of the baking time, check the granola often so it doesn't burn. Remove from the oven and stir in the optional coconut. Enjoy!
