Chocolate strawberry overnight oats

These Chocolate strawberry overnight oats make a healthy and delicious breakfast. Loaded with wholesome ingredients and perfect for meal prep. Filled with the best combo of chocolate and sweet summer strawberry flavour.

Ingredients
  • 1 cups unsweetened almond milk, or milk of choice
  • 1 cup greek style yoghurt, unsweetened and thick consistency
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 tablespoons chia seeds (use 2 tablespoon for extra thick and creamy oats)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup strawberries fresh or frozen, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips
Topping
  • ½ cup greek style yoghurt
  • ½ cup strawberries, chopped
  • chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, stir together the milk, yoghurt, maple syrup and vanilla.

  2. Add the oats, cocoa powder, chia seeds and salt, stir well. Let it sit for 5 min and mix well again. This is to prevent lumps forming from the chia seeds.
  3. Fold in the chopped strawberries and the chocolate chips.
  4. Cover the bowl (or place in jars) and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  5. To serve, add the overnight oats to two glasses. Top with thick greek style yoghurt, chocolate chips and strawberries. Enjoy!
