July 22, 2024 by Helena Leave a Comment

This Fruit salad with honey dressing is a fresh, healthy and delicious side or dessert. A variety of rainbow fruit and berries all mixed with a light and bright honey lime dressing that really enhance the natural flavours and sweetness of the fruit.

This honey lime fruit salad recipe is so easy to make. It is a great side dish for the potluck, picnic or bbq parties. I also serve this for breakfast, tastes great with some yoghurt. It’s a real crowd-pleaser that tastes amazing, so fresh and easy to make. It also makes a great healthy dessert. Taste great served with some whipped cream or ice cream.

Another great fruit dessert are these roasted strawberries.

Substitutions and Variations

The fruits and berries in this fruit salad can be exchanged for any fruits of your choice. Pick the ones that are in season, whatever is fresh, ripe and sweet. I like to get a few different flavours, textures and colours. Grapes, citrus fruit, pineapple, different kind of berries, melon, stone fruit or what ever fruit is your favorite!

  • Vegan – the honey can be replaced with maple syrup to make this a vegan fruit salad.
  • Citrus – instead of lime, you can also use lemon juice.

Also try this easy roasted strawberries recipe.

This fruit salad with honey dressing is best eaten the same day it is made. Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. The fruit will become softer when it sits.
