If you want to make this crust gluten free, make sure to use certified gluten free oats. And to make them vegan, use maple syrup and a vegan yoghurt.
The granola tarts can be made the night before and then simply topped with yoghurt and berries right before serving.
Ingredients you will need to make these gluten free fruit tart:
- Oats
- Mixed nuts or almonds
- Coconut oil
- Maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Cardamon or cinnamon
- Yoghurt, fruit and berries of your choice for topping
Instructions
Start by preheating the oven. Process the oats, nuts, salt and cardamon in a food processor until it has a course flour like consistency.
Add the coconut oil and maple syrup and pulse until just combined and has a crumb like consistency.
Divide the mixture into 4 small, lightly greased tart molds with removable bottoms. I find it easiest to use the back of an oiled spoon to help press the granola evenly across the pan and up the sides. Bake until just golden brown.
Let cool completely in the moulds and gently remove the granola tarts.Top with your choice of yoghurt, fruit and berries. Enjoy!
Toppings:
- Raspberries
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Kiwi
- Mango
